- I don't think that young people value their education as much as Sara. They even think of it as a problem or burden when they are in elementary and high school. However, when kids go to college thats when I think they really start to value what they have. They realize how fortunate they are to be able to have that opportunity and the money to pay for it. But in general, kids today definitely do not value their education as much as Sara did.

Mike you make a good point with the kids who go to college. Kids who can work hard enough to a point where they can go to college are not taking their education for granted and making something out of themselves.
So, maybe being forced to go to school and not having a stake in paying for it makes kids less "invested" in making the most of it? Good points...
