Inauguration

I think today's presidential inauguration of Barack Obama is a huge deal. He is our first African-American president and his election was a big moment in American history. I think the inauguration is very hyped up, but it should be. Not only is this something that only happens every four years, It is now something that has never happened before in this country. It is a big moment for both African-Americans and all others.

Secrets

Fortunately for me, I have never had a a serious secret that I can remember. I don't think I have ever had to keep something really important from anyone. I don't like secrets very much, so I'd rather not get involved with them.

Thoughts on The Scarlet Letter

So far, I have found The Scarlet letter to be very confusing. This is probably mostly due to the fact that the english in the book is hard to read and understand. The plot also doesn't not interest me much because I can't relate to something so different from our current society.

New year's resolution

I don't have a new year's resolution because I honestly think they're pointless. Every time that I try to think of one for the new year, I end up forgetting it and ignoring it within a month. Nothing ever really comes out of it. So this year I don't have a specific resolution, but instead I will just try my best at everything I do.
